Thanks for signing the guestbook! Re the grass e-route: In fact, the major shooting organisations meet regularly at British Shooting Sports Council meetings to exchange views and write the hymn-sheet they sing from. Websites such as Guntrader and Cybershooters (for example) already have a system which has a similar effect. Sadly, its not so much the organisations as we shooters ourselves who don't communicate: ask yourself how many shooters YOU know who are actually full members of at least one shooting organisation. It is estimated that there are well over 600,000 people with firearm & shotgun certificates in England & Wales, and if you add Scotland and all the airgun and softair shooters, I suppose we must be getting towards a million shooters. The largest shooting organisation in the UK has only around 123,000 members. Perhaps shooters are such individualists that they don't like joining organisations ? I don't know the answer. Mike |
